Orton Bradley Picnic

Picnic Sites

The park offers an abundance of picnic sites where you choose sun or shade. There is an adventure playground, a shallow stream where children can play in the water in safety, and large grassy areas for playing games.

The picnic areas are situated in a sheltered setting surrounded by pastoral farming, amenity plantations, including arboretum, extensive rhododendron garden, and native forest.

A Google Earth map of the Picnic sites, Tracks and other features is available here.

Book a Picnic Site

For a small booking fee ($20) we will reserve a picnic site for that special birthday, Xmas party or family picnic. Please Contact the office for more information.

The adventure playground contains flying foxes, swings, tunnels, climbing A Frame, low ropes balance course and much more contained around the "Orton Bradley Prirate Ship". Complemented with picnic tables and shady areas leading down to a gentle stream there is room to swing a cricket bat or lie on the grass while the children explore the playground.

The BMX Pump track for little wheels is located at the north end of the playground where the Rhododendron and Dunmallet walking tracks also start.

The two flying foxes are popular.

ENTRANCE FEE

As we are a private park, there is an entrance fee to enter the park. The entrance fee helps to maintain the tracks, buildings and other attractions within the park. Your co-operation is much appreciated.

The entrance fee is $5 per adult, $1 per child, to a maximum of $10 per car load.

WE ARE A DOG FREE ZONE

Due to Orton Bradley Park being a working farm, and also hosting many young children, we do not allow dogs on the property. There are kennels available for use at the entrance booth.
